Hi,
I'm going on holiday to Cornwall in September and trying to work out costs. I want to go to the Lost Gardens of Helligan but its a bit expensive. Anyone know of any offers? 2for1 or anything? I'd heard you could combine with Eden project but can't find anything about it and was going to get Eden project tickets with my tesco clubcard vouchers.

Both are well worth seeing.
If you gift aid your ticket for the Eden project it means you can visit as many times as you like within a 12 month period.
I know you are using vouchers so that might be of no interest to you, but something to consider.0 -
Heligan is so much better than Eden (overpriced & overcrowded)0

We love both Eden and Heligan and have Friends membership for both of them. Eden is best visited early or late in the day - which would be a good reason as lucylucky has suggested to gift aid your admission so that you could visit more than once during your holiday. In all the years we have been visiting Heligan we have never known there to be a combination ticket for Eden and Heligan - they are completely separate organisations - the link between the two is Tim Smit who developed them both.
I'm guessing you're planning on staying in the St Austell/Truro area muppet83? If so, why not have a look at the Mussel Card Visitor Plus that the King Harry Ferry company offers:
http://www.kingharryscornwall.co.uk/frl/fal_mussel_card/visitor_plus/buy_online
This includes travel on various boat services operated by the KHF, plus some of the local train and bus services, and admission to attractions such as the National Maritime Museum and Glendurgan.
We'll be buying ours in May!

We thought much the opposite. The Eden project is a world class botanical garden and Helligan was very disappointing after the hype.
You could try looking out for the Great Gardens of Cornwall card. When you get a certain number of stamps you get a discount. We are National Trust members and managed to get all the stamps at NT properties for nothing.0 -
I think Heligan is £10 for an adult? It is quite pricey, but I suppose if you're going to spend all day there it's worth the money. I went last week, didn't pay to go around the gardens just had lunch there (Sunday lunch is very good!!).0

Did you get this card fairly recently cubegame? We've seen the Great Gardens of Cornwall leaflets, but not the card. We're members of the NT too so could be usefulDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0
