Well back at work

Yesterday didn't do anything other than a bit of shopping.
So spends were
£18.14 waitrose
£19.12 Farmfoods
£10.29 M&S
Got some good reductions in waitrose on my meat so happy with that.
Don't think anyone spent anything today (i've been asleep all day) so its a NSD here.
House is fairly tidy as OH is off. He and the kids are away to MIL for dinner so I'm just going to have some bacon and eggs. Need to make a sandwich to take to work and then get showered and off I go.
I have also applied for 2 jobs and have another I am thinking about.
Doubt I will be back on for a few days but my plan for my next 4 days off is to make bread. I have all the ingrediants so I may as well give it a try. The receipe I have costs it at 40p a loaf and we currently buy the hovis from Farmfoods at £1.50 for 2 so I could make a saving there. Will report back how I am getting.
Oh just remember OH credit card bill is in, only £42 so must remember to pay it by begining of may.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

I bought a bread maker in November last year. I try not to eat bread (one slice is never enough!) but DH does and like you, we were paying £1.50 upards a loaf, which was a bit daft as he only ever ate half and gave the other half to our chickens! Very well looked after chickens!!!
Bread now costs us about 30p per loaf (I buy bags of sunflower seeds and chiuck those in if I fancy doing a healthy seedy type one). Lidl do bread flour which is quite good. Let us know how it goes...I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions...0 -
Having a very lazy day today, was working thursday night and only got 3 hours sleep on friday morning. Had too much to do during the day then we were off to a friends party.
Eventually got home just before 1am. All I have managed to do today is do the dishes and wipe down the kitchen surface.
Dinner tonight is steak pie, veg and totties. I am going to make my bread tomorrow so I will let you know how I get on.
Should be a NSD as I'm not going out and OH went to work for a few hours this morning and I think he was going to McDonalds for his breakfast but I think he had tokens to get a free breakfast but will check with him later.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

I'm flying round with the jobs today. I've even managed to put a boil wash on for the whites only thing is I forgot to put the bathroom matts on and they could be doing with a wash but i'm sure there will be a white wash going on again in the next few days.
Ironing all done just needs to put away. Not going to do any baking until the oven is on at dinner time to save energy.
We have decided to the living under the poverty line challenge in may and I am going to spend some time thinking about what we can eat with only £20 to do us for 5 days, should be doable but it is going to take some thinking.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

Have been busy with work again but this is my 2nd day off. Slept most of yesterday.
DS has another party today so heading off the shops to get a present soon.
DD and I will go for a swim and then have some lunch while DS is at the party.
OH has gone off for the day on a cycle.
Not planning on doing many jobs today as i'm still tired and my joints are a bit achy. Doesn't look good weather wise at the moment but hoping it brightens up later.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

Well it eventually dried up and the sun came out.
Went swimming while DS was at his party then DD and I shared a sandwich and fries in the restraunt. The party was at our gym so there was no need for us to spent 2 hours wandering about.
Came home and OH had put up DD's greenhouse that got blown done. So we have planted some tomatoe seeds and planted the flower garden and jack in the beanstalk seeds she got at christmas.
Still need to put a washing on so will do that now then sit down with some wine
Need to remember and put the kids easter eggs out for tomorrow, the've been at the bottom of my wardrobe for weeks.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00
