We are looking to install mirror sliding wardrobe doors to go from wall to wall and I wonder if anyone has used the B and Q cheap ones, or Wickes, or the more expensive ones from a company called Deanes Direct?

Yes I've used the B&Q ones. My mum the DIY whizz fitted them about 5 years ago. They were still good as new when we moved out a year ago. I really miss those wardrobes in our new house, I only noticed your question because I was looking for hints on what to do now! They did a good job but I really can't afford a new set right now.
Fitting the runners was very fiddly and beyond my DIY skills, partly because our floor and ceiling were very "wiggly" so we (she!) had to do a lot of fiddling to get them flat enough to take the doors without trouble.
One of the doors had a tendency to pop out of the runner at the top for a while, never worked out why but it stopped after a while. The fixings which attach the doors to the runners feel very flimsy but seem to do the job.0 -
We bought and installed the Wickes ones and they were very easy to fit and look great and were easier to get hold of than getting them from B and Q but thanks for replying.0
