how to send a motorbike leather jacket?

i'm going to list my other half's motorbike leather jacket on ebay tonight and i just wondered what would be the best way to send it 
(then i can make sure i quote the right p&p price). i usually send things recorded but i think that i'll have to put this in a box as it is quite bulky. it weighs about 3.5kg.
any advise appreciated

How much will it be worth approx? Probably best to send it parcel force and then add on extra compenstation if over £32 3 - 5 days delivery. Alternativley could advertise special delivery which will be approx £18 guaranteed next day and £500 compensation.0

I think that you could send it for less than £8 on a 2/3 day delivery.

Royal Mail Standard Parcels would be £7.70 if the packed weight is 4kg or less, or £8.74 if over 4kg.0
