How do I get CSA to pay me what I'm owed?

Hi all
I have full time residency for my daughter and was awarded the minimum £5 per week child maintenance in Feb 2009 as my ex partner is on benefits. As such, this payment is taken from her benefit before she ever gets it in the first place and goes directly to the CSA.
My problem is that for the first 6 months from Feb 09 to Aug 09, I did not receive any of this money even though it was been taken from her benefits (which both the CSA and my ex-partner confirmed was being done). Payments then started to go into my bank, but only from the date they started going in, no additional money for those first 6 months of the award.
Then once again in approx July 2010, the payments just stopped again. I rang the CSA repeatedly and they just kept saying that no circumstances had changed and I should still receive payments. They could see on their system that they were receiving the payment from my ex directly from her benefits, but had no idea why this was not then going into my account.
I am sick to death of calling them about this and being told the same thing, then told they will call me back shortly and to date I've never received a callback from them (I think I've phoned well over 20 times now).
Can someone please advise me on how I may be able to get the money I am due from them? They are receiving it from my ex (the non resident parent) but are simply not passing this on to me and they don't seem to know why or how to fix it. There's no special details about my account it's paid into, it's just a straightforward Santander current account.
Many thanks.

Good luck!
CSA are without a doubt the worst organisation to be put on this planet. Stop faffing about with the phone monkeys, either send in a complaint via recorded delivery or get your MP on the case. If they are deducting the fiver from the NRP then this money is going somewhere when it's not going to you, and this "We don't have any idea where your child support is going" is really unacceptable.*SIGH*

I know it's principle but for £5 per week I couldn't be bothered! You have probably wasted more in phone calls. Good luck...0

That's £40-£45 per month though. I could cook a pretty decent meal for £5 and have loads left over to freeze. It all helps. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

But where is the money going if it's being deducted at source and it's not going to the PWC! It's sitting somewhere. May only be a fiver but it's the PWC fiver not for the CSA bank account.*SIGH*

Something tells me that if the NRP was a man you wouldn't be saying that....0 -
I don't think I've contacted them for more well over a month now so think i'll give them another try this week and if no joy this time, maybe a letter to my MP, see if I get a response there. Like you say it's the principle rather than the money, but still with the initial non payments aswell I think it's over £300 now, so not so little to turn my nose up at!
