Bi fold doors - any recommendations in Bucks/Berks area?

Please can anyone recommend some timber bi-fold / folding-sliding doors? And even better, know how we can see some?!

We need to purchase several sets for our new-build house, but are really struggling to see samples of doors as many of the suppliers are northern based and do not have southern show rooms!

Having looked through some threads on this forum, we've looked into several companies, and The Folding Sliding Door company seems to be a good value option, along with possibly George Barnsdale ... but we can't pay out thousands of pounds on doors we've never seen! It's a tricky one!

Please can anyone recommend any other companies with showrooms in the West London/Bucks/Berks area?

We've just had their internal folding sliding doors installed. Seem to be good quality and were a pretty good price I think.

Bound to be other manufacturers there too, I would have thought.

If you are looking to buy bi fold doors and you have mentioned that you require in bulk then it is better to search in the internet and find online store. They will be having wide variety of collections and also experts to fix the doors, they also provide cash discounts.

Its not so much the product quality as also the installation of Bi fold doors, They need to be installed perfectly square and true else you'll have ongoing problems. Personally I think Aluminium is better suited to bi fold doors as it is more rigid than UPVC and less likely to cause problems with expansion during the summer months.

Check online and check that the company in question that you choose to buy from has all the necessary kitemark accreditations. Tht should at least be some peace of mind.
