I wouldnt do anything to it yourself! Go back into the hairdressers and tell them that its not what you wanted and you'd like them to fix it. To be honest, the chances are they will correct it free of charge, places like that rely heavily on word of mouth, so im sure they would be happy to sort it out for you!
