lost letter

ive started my quest to reclaim my bank charges against Halifax..
i have paid £5.00 for my statements on one of my accounts but Halifax staff told me that there is no notification of my letter for my second account..
the girl in the branch remembers me handing them in but "Head Office" have no knowledge of it... as it's now been 60 days+ and they have failed to acknowledge my letter although they claim it was never sent, what do i do next??? i have copies on my PC of the origional letters...
any advice????:confused::confused:

    This is a bit tricky really. It's your word against theirs.

    If both accounts are with the same bank, you could have made just one request for all the accounts you hold there (in just one letter).

    I always advise people to not take the letters in, or send them normal post. You don't have any proof they received them this way. Send EVERYTHING by registered or recorded post, and it will stop this sort of situation occuring.

    For one girl I'm claiming for, I've told her to send all the letters recorded. This is dispite the fact that the Nationwide she banks with (and where we've sent the letters to) is less than 15 yards from the post office on the other side of the road. She has receipts for all the letters she has sent so far, so Nationwide can't deny receiving them.
