External damage to house outside 10 year guarantee

I bought a house 6 years ago that was built in 2000. Recently there has been an issue with the external wall of the gable end. The frost has got in behind the pebbledash on one side of the house and broken away revealing a very thin scratch coat and a large part of the pebbledash broken away. We are not covered on home insurance as it's frost damage and the property is beyond it's 10 year guarantee. wHere do I stand legally on this as such damage should not occur on relatively new property. It's a persimmon property. What should I do as the cost to re-plaster is over £2000. Any ideas.

You will have to pay if you want it repaired.

Agree with above, if your insurance does not cover and it's outside the 10 year guarantte, nothing you can do.

I have to agree with ILW .
It's the price you pay when you buy rather than renting - the up side is you get to keep any profit when you sell.

I agree with all the comments in the previous replies but surely I'm not the only one wondering...what part "credit card" forum didn't you understand?

hey its their first post, dont confuse them. Head to the DFW they will help you
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
