How can we if at all do a page about asking facebook to stop allowing the selling of animals on the site.

Not sure,it would be a hard thing for them to moniter too I suppose but should definately be done.I swear some people only sell because they now have such easy means to do so with such a huge audience and people seem to be buying pets just because they are cheap.I've never seen the animals in the local paper etc or anywhere else so I don't know how they wwere doing it beforehand (or has pet selling become the latest way to make a quick buck when you feel like some money?)

You get alot of advertising on Gumtree and Preloved, Facebook has had loads of buying and selling pages crop up over the last year, times are hard and I guess many people just can't afford their pets anymore.

Yes, some are obviously trying to make some quick easy money out of it. I actually reported some bloke for selling "pitbull" puppies as they are a banned breed, but i made contact, got his details then reported him to the local police, think before you act, if you are concerned, do a bit of digging and report them to the relevant authorities.
Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.
