This may just be a coincidence, but after I signed up to 18866, my phone is no longer displaying the Caller's number when I get a phone call. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks.

I have a similar problem but I know what's caused it for me at least. I added the 18866 prefix to all numbers in my phone's memory which means the phone now only shows the number and not the name of the people calling me. Unfortunately as I wouldn't remember to dial 18866 before each call I can't think of a way round this.

I had a similar problem to MMS, but it didn't affect all the numbers in my phone memory and it didn't happen all the time. In my case the problem was caused by the DSL filters that were supplied with my router. I bought some good quality filters and the phones now show all the caller's names every time.Retired and Happy.0

Turns out my problem was similar, I had programmed some numbers in the phone's memory including the 18866 prefix. I've removed all the numbers from the memory and Caller ID is working again! Stange, because my phone is supposed to show me who's calling regardless of what numbers are in the phone memory. Ah well, I just have to remember to prefix all my calls with 18866 instead of programming into the memory! Thanks for all the advice.0 -

You only need the more expensive one if you intend to use more than 1 low cost carrier.Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.0
