travelinsuranceweb.co.uk has always been the cheapest and best value I have found but opt for their superior policy rather than the very basic (superior has 10million medical cover rather than only 1million)

And if you use code STFD72 you can get 20% off. Plus if you are on Quidco you can usually get about 15% on their too so works out really cheap.

Just ran a quote and you would be looking at £11.63 for the two of you.

BUT - this is all said on the basis that there are no medical conditions etc to declare.

I've just had a look at travelinsuranceweb.co.uk as I am also looking for cheap travel insurance and the quote seemed really cheap.

However, I just did a quick search on google for reviews of the insurance and they look pretty poor based on people who have had to claim. Less than 2 out of 5 stars from those who have made a claim.

Is this what other people have found?

Also what about the Direct Travel Insurance recommended in the travel insurance section of MSE?
