North East Gas Connection

Hi Guys,
Was trying to get a Gas Connection through a grant and Northern Gas Networks only to discover the pipes in my Area are owned by ES Pipelines and they have quoted 800 for connection. Does anyone know of any grants available for connection with ES Pipelines or any other options to get this connection cost down?
