I'm looking to buy a used car from a local garage, it's £4000 which i can pay in cash but would i have more rights in the future, if i paid the £300 deposit on my credit card? (i've only got a £500 limit on my credit card and i would pay the whole amount back when i got the bill to save on interest charges).
I've not bought such an expensive car before and i'm a bit concerned and i would prefer to be covered if possible for any problems if they were to arise.

Pay the £300 deposit on your card. You have the right idea.0
-
Pay the deposit with a credit card and the balance with a debit card.
That way you are protected and aren't walking round with thousands of pounds on you.0
