I'm staying with DH & the 3 kids at the abover Travelodge. Never been here before but wandering about breakfast (a must for us & can't skip!). I know its a MOTO service station but wandering where the kids can eat their cereals if any!

Just had a thought - I'll take picnic bowls with me & a box of cereal & I'll buy a pint of milk in the shops & they can eat in the room! But still need to know where I can get something & DH can have his bacon!0

If you can keep it fresh until the next morning, or get UHT.But still need to know where I can get something & DH can have his bacon!
If it's a Moto services then no doubt they will be serving horrendously overpriced bacon breakfasts - you'll probably pay more for that than your room.
The MoneySaving tip would be to take cereal or cereal bars for everyone, and do without the bacon for one day.0 -
I mean I can buy a pint of milk in the service station...I'm sure there's either a M&S or WHSmith there!
Oh and DH & I don't "do" cereals. yuck!0 -
if not up to J33 turn left and have breakfast at old holly farm, the kids could have a play as well. The futures bright the future is Ginger0

Thanks for that Gingerdad but we're going straight to Center Parcs.......we're staying at M6 to avoid the BH travel on the A55/M56/M6....so we'll only be 90 mins from there to have the best part of the day.0

Most fresh milk has about 7 days before its use-by date. Freeze it the day before, and allow it to slowly defrost over night. It's what I do......0 -

other option is to stop at the Llama Karma Kafe on the A66 (and the kids can watch the lamas)
Old holly is only 5 minutes from the Forton (if you put the post code into tomtom will take you out of the back of the services)
Hope you enjoy centre parcs. The futures bright the future is Ginger0 -

Tomtom?!?!?!? Never use them! Takes the fun out of map reading!! Not that I need one to go to Whinfell cos I've been ther 9 times! But I've passed the cafe & always look & think "nice place to stop."0
