i dont use the heavy bristle brushes in them kits a fine thin artists brush does better and requires more patience, but gives better results, build up layer by layer or youll darken the spot and itl stick out, go a thin layer at a time and make sure its given time to dry inbetween layers, best time to use these kits are in the summer when its warm, sun will heat the pain quick and minamize any runs and youll be able to see if the pain matches properly.0

Are people that silly to order on eBay without checking dealer 1st? The exact same thing from VW is £6.41, and guaranteed to match, not be mixed incorrectly or split after a few months!
Please.
I wouldn't quite have phrased it that way, but the dealer is usually a good place to get touch up paint from, (not sure it's better than anyone else's though, but then again I've never had a problem with any I've bought)0 -

Always worth checking the main dealer.
I've been pleasantly surprised - and routinely disappointed - by their prices.0 -

We, honestly, get at least 2/3 people per month that have tried Halfrauds (etc), and the colours have been mixed incorrectly or are just blatantly wrong. When we've told them the price of ours it has ALWAYS been cheaper than the one they've already wasted their money on. The OE ones also come with lacquer too...it really is a no-brainer.
Can't comment on the colour, mine have alays been ok though,
They all mix them to a preset colour, computer controlled, the same as VW aftermarket will buy in, they don't mix their own.
Halfords usually match well.
They're also two or three pack, with undercoat, colour, and lacquer normally.
I was there buying paint yesterday.
I also use a local paint supplier, and again, computer mixed to the standard on the premises, and always spot on.
But I buy from the dealer as well.0
