I wish I had read all these comments before purchasing from Galaxy Perfumes. I ordered 5 bottles of Jimmy Choo Exotic Perfume for Xmas presents. Nothing received so far until today when I received an answerphone message which didnt include a call back tel no. and email requesting a copy of my credit card statement or copies of both sides of my credit card to verify my ID...............I have never been asked to provide such info before and I purchase online regularly from other sites.

You may also take a photo or scan of the Front AND Back of the credit card used to make the purchase and email it to us. Please make sure it is clear and legible.

We have set your order aside in our warehouse until we receive one of the above items emailed to us. If we have not heard from you within 12 days, we will cancel your order.

Ive emailed a reply to cancel order and refund full amount asap to which I received an automated message saying they are out of the office for the xmas period........

The Birmingham tel no. displayed on their website is dead????

I hope no-one thinks of doing this. IMHO your credit card company would view it as negligence in the event of any card fraud.

Ok, I'm fairly new here but just wanted to throw in my experience. I came across Galaxy Perfume on Google whilst trying to obtain some fragrances not available in the UK.
As I'd not used them before I probably should have researched them further before buying, and having read some of the reviews on here might have thought twice before using them.
Anyway what's done is done and I can honestly say that so far I have not experienced any of the problems most people appear to have had. I emailed to confirm product was in stock and got a response within 24 hours. I placed my order and the whole checkout process was as seamless as any other online store I've used. I received my order confirmation and I haven't been charged any additional taxes, my bank statement confirms this. I was a bit perplexed at the 25 day delivery period, but given that they're shipping from the US this seems fairly reasonable based on other orders I've received from the US.
I haven't received the order yet, but there's still plenty of time before the 25 day delivery period All in all it's going just like any other purchase I've made, but will post again whe I receive my order or if I experience any problems.

Ok, my order arrived today and sooner than expected. I was able to track it all the way, both via the US courier and then MyHermes when it arrived in the UK.

The products are the genuine article and exactly what I ordered. They even sent me a coupon for 10% off my next purchase.

My only gripe with the order would be the packaging. Although the items were undamaged there was no protective packing what so ever. Maybe that isn't such a big deal but given that the order contained glass bottles I would have expected at least some bubble wrap or something.

All in all I'm very pleased with my order, and I'd have to give my experience with them a 4.5 out of 5 total.

I have recently purchased from them Xmas 2014. I THOUGHT I was dealing with a UK site given the web address was .co.uk!
Beware it's in the US and took over 3 weeks to deliver. I am also convinced I received 1 genuine fragrance and 1 fake. I purchased a 'tester' hence no packaging but am pretty sure it's a fake. It also costs more than you see as a conversion rate is applied to your UK pounds£ and then my bank charged me £2.80 for the privilege as well.
The website will not let you register as a user and I found it hard to make contact.
My overall opinion BEWARE! DO NOT USE THEM. I certainly wont go near them again.
I have found Strawberry.net to be trusted and have great customer service. The prices aren't as enticing as Galaxy perfumes but if something seems to good to be true it usually is!

when i made my order they charge my visa with extra money more than the order cost?why......no answer
when i asked them the delivery time the answer was 1 :2.5 month? why.......no answer
finally i cancelled the order and waiting for refund>>>>sure the refund will be less than they deduct>>>why?......no answer:rotfl:
