My order from galaxy perfume eventually arrived today. (20 days from order to delivery albeit Christmas holidays was part of it) Had about 7 emails from Dottie in their admin department who gave me a tracking number and also a refund to cover the extra I paid due to being billed in dollars and my credit card company charging for conversion. It seems freipost com were responsible for the delay as incorrectly labelled the perfumes and were held up in customs. When they arrive in the UK Hermes took over. Just delighted to receive my cologne but may be a bit nervous about ordering again."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE! ordered and paid on 10.01.12 and finally got product on 21.2.12! No indication on website that they are just merchant agents and products can come from anywhere - USA in my case - and that there is no tracking once product arrives in UK. RUBBISH! Pay more and get from reputable site that you know is in UK and actually has product in stock to sell!!!!0

Im from Western Australia and made a purchase from the Australian Galaxy perfume website in Victoria. I made the purchase at least 3 weeks ago and still not received my purchase. I tried calling them and have emails them but they have not returned my email and there customer contact number is disconnected. VERY ANGRY......As they are in Victoria Australia it does not take over 3 weeks to deliver something to Western Australia. BUYER BEWARE. I will never use this site again and to recommend others not to either. Cheers for your time to read. :-)0 -
Place an order on what i thought was geniune english website, to see that product charge on invoice differ from amount taken out of bank.
Also got charged a foreign purchase handling fee by bank.
Looked through the website, and give all english address and contact number , but never mentionned that they are set up abroad.
Now will wait to see if product arrive
Shouldnt there be something on their details to inform people??

oh dear...I too bought Hollisters cal cologne from this site and that was back on the tenth November.....because the website says UK and that customer service says Birmingham I assumed it was posted from the UK....i emailed the customer service asking where the product was and dottie replied giving me the tracking number and when it was shipped.....
I mentioned I thought the company was UK based etc and dottie said no where on the site does it say this and that all orders are shipped from the USA so I replied back saying the site address says UK and the customer service says Birmingham and that it was miseading to the customer if they are in the USA!! Haven;t heard back yet....hope I get my product....really can kick myself
also one email says it was dispatched on the 30/11 and dottie is telling me the 26/11 lol..............tracking says transfered from airport on the 29/11 so if thats the UK hopefully I will receive it soon0 -

Their prices seemed cheap plus with discount codes and tcb it would be even cheaper, however I think I'll steer clear after reading the comments above! I'd rather pay more.0

I purchased 2 thallium perfumes after i talked to a women on the phone and after several emails in wich i asked if they are really by jaques evard thallium perfume......they said yes every time and i received eve by systelle perfume, another perfume.On the receipt says that i payed for 2 jaques evard perfumes, and in the package was eve de systelle.i have made pictures and sent them, and guess what...noboby answered.....so dont buy.0

Possibly a number of frauds and/or scams going on here. Despite an address in Birmingham, there is no company registration number, and no VAT registration number on the site, neither will they provide them by email. The inference therefore is that they do not have either.
They appear to be US based, shipping all product from the US.
Their prices are listed on Google Shopping, as all prices are for the UK, as inclusive of VAT. Its only when questioned that they state that the handling charge is 20% VAT......ie their listings on Google are incorrect, showing prices that are 20% less than they actually charge. They obviously think that VAT is the same as Sales Tax, ie added on afterwards, rather than inclusive in the ticket price, which for a consumer website is the law in the UK.
Finally, there appears to be a fraudulent collection of VAT going on, as they do not appear to be remitting any VAT to HMRC.....just charging customers and pocketing the cash.
So, I'm not touching them with a bargepole.
PS Their checkout appears not to be PCI/DSS compliant, storing your card details AND CVV code between step 2 and step 3 of the checkout. They incorrectly claim they do not store your details. So, use their payment processing at your own risk.illegitimi non carborundum0
