Egg Credit Card problem dealt with.

Like many happy users of the Egg Credit Card I was worried when I heard the news about Barclays buying them out. I could imagine them taking my account only to inform me that I no longer stepped up to the mark for getting one of their cards. So rather than opting for for a 'bad credit' card which I object to strongly ( I have never had bad credit in my life, never been overdrawn, always paid bills etc etc) I decided to go straight to my bank and exlain the situation fully. They were very helpful and after the application was passed I was offered the choice of two card accounts, one of which was American Express (free!) I was so pleased! So to all of you out there who are nonplussed as I was I suggest you do the same. It may solve all of your credit card problems.
