Youve shared a number of your reasons behind your decision and I disagree with a lot of what you say. Perhaps that comes from having lived and worked around the world, eventually you learn things, often through your own mistakes. Some people can learn from your mistakes, in which case, good for them. Some people are stubborn and think the world of themselves, and theres no point trying to share life experiences with them. You seem to fit quite nicely into the second category.
Im from Asia, I lived a long period of time in and around Asia, Ive heard most of the arguments youve presented before, and Im now in the UK because it offers me by far a better life in my own opinion and from my own experience. Of course peoples individual circumstances differ but sometimes appreciation for what different countries offer and also their shortcomings only comes when you have lived in those places for a while.
Mate, youve been insulting, for no real reason, youve shown yourself to be incapable of engaging in a civilised manner with anyone who disagrees with your point of view. Therefore Im just done responding to you.

Edit: Ah screw it, good luck with your life, methinks youll need it with that attitude!

Thank you for the compliment. I'm ok. I'm not especially nice and can be v. waspish. I like the way I'm viewed here. People treat me as if I am much ''nicer'' than I am I think. After all, Bendix, we often have views that are very close run things. I just regret holding some of them! I AM very lucky and I think some degree I can take things philosophically. And this is a forum....animated words here don't change the fact there are real people behind them. You don't agree with the people's views or methods always but you can still wish them well
