This maybe be obvious to alot of peole but i'll post my expericences so far!
I am going to be moving in the near future and when i researched all the charges involved i was quite taken back, so to lessen the blow I thought about all the junk in the attic and contents laying around the home that I really did not need or wanted to take with me when I move, so i cleared out everything, sorted them into piles - Charity shop, Car boot sales & ebay/local classifieds piles.
So far in the last 2 months i have made nearly £300 from things i did not want! it's not a huge amount in the relitive cost of moving but would cover removal cost etc!
Hope this helps
Take care

It also helps to reduce your actual removal costs as you are not "taking" so much junk with you! You may get away with a smaller lorry/van!0

Quite right Doug

Any other tips to add to these?0 -
During the past year I've been selling books through "Amazon Marketplace" even though I'm not moving, I wanted to clear out a bit and I've made over £300 too.0
