aircon? whats that? I've got a '95 Daewoo Nexia. None of the electric windows work, the sunroof has been sealed cause it leaked and the aircon needs re-gassing!

I agree, I've been driving for over 40 years and never had a car with aircon, even present car a 2007 model doesn't have it. Aircon is just something else which initially costs more, needs servicing and eventually goes wrong.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

Unless of course I don't have aircon!

My problem is that I am not even sure it is my car! It didn't happen this morning and I may well have driven onto someone elses leak! I will keep my eye on it and take it from there.

stop driving it until you know for sure its yours :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

How can anyone possibly cope without aircon.

I just push a little button and the roof folds away, far nicer than air-con :j :j

Reminds me of a couple of years ago, driving between Valencia and Barcelona in July, and the aircon appeared not to be working. I drove for about an hour in stifling heat wondering if I would be able to find somewhere to have it sorted before realising that I had the heat setting cranked up. D'oh...

LOL! Because I did exactly the same thing - well it was in York not Barcelona. I was starting to think - how much will this cost me to fix, I can't afford this right now. Which garage will I take it too...

And it adds about 50kg to the car

It's fine by the way! Car as clean as a whistle underneath when fiat checked. Looks like I was just unfortunate to park on someone elses spill!

Regarding the Fiat 500 coming with aircon as standard - really?!?! I must be looking in the wrong place for the button then! I remember when I bought it thinking why on earth would I pay extra for aircon when I live in the UK and have a perfectly functioning window?! In fact when I go on the fiat website and configure my car I can see it is an extra £525 for aircon.

Aren't you tired? Now might be a good time to stop and ask for directions.
