Egg credit card - interest charges

Hi all

In Feb I purchased car insurance using my Egg card. I get a statement in March and pay it off a few days later. Today, I get my April statement and there's interest on there!

Does Egg operate differently? I've sent an email off but if someone has a number for their CS, then I'll give them a ring

No. Though, as described, it may appear to.

To expand on zx81's question:
What was your closing balance for Jan/Feb and was that paid off in full, on time in Feb/March?
What was your closing balance in Feb/March and was that paid off in full, on time in March/Apr?

Have you withdrawn any money or made any 'purchases' that would count as a cash withdrawal any time since Jan?


The tone of your OP indicates that this is the only thing you've used your card for in ages - is that incorrect?
