Primus Freetalk November Bills

Hi there
I was just wondering whether anyone who took advantage of the Primus/uswitch offer earlier this year has had any descrepancies on their November bill?
Myself and 2 members of my family are all on Primus and all 3 of our bills are wrong this month but all in our favour.
The total value of the itemised list of calls is more than the figure on the front page but yet the VAT has been correctly calculated.
For example.....
Total cost of calls (as per itemised list) £13.13 (excluding VAT)
But yet on the front page of the bill............
Call charges £9.28
VAT £2.29 (VAT calculated on £13.13)
Total bill £11.57 (should be £15.42)
Hope this makes sense.
The strangest error is on my bill where my itemised call list shows I made calls to the value of £1.04 yet on the front page next to call charges for this month they have actually applied a credit of £3.77 and yet underneath added 18p VAT which again is the right amount of VAT for £1.04 worth of calls.
Has anyone else noticed anything similar on theirs?

Similar thing for me. Made a call lasting over 3 hours (forgot to hang up and redial) so I was expecting to be charged as it's over the 90mins.Canny_mal wrote:I was just wondering whether anyone who took advantage of the Primus/uswitch offer earlier this year has had any descrepancies on their November bill?

Looking at our bill, it clearly states the call was over 3 hours long but hasn't charged us for the 'excess' in the call.
Apart from that though, it's been fine as all 'chargable' calls like 084x/087x, mobiles, etc are made from Call18185 so we never pay for any calls with Primus - just the cost of the inclusive tariff.0 -
I started this thread last month and didn't get much response. Well myself and 2 members of my family have now had our December bills and again all three are wrong and again all in our favour.
Can someone on Primus Freetalk 1 who signed up through uswitch have a look at their Nov/Dec bills and let me know whether theirs is also wrong?0 -
Are you taking into account the credit that they apply once a quarter ? (if you signed up to the same Primus deal as me where you pay a small monthly fee but get money back every 3 months ?)
Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.0 -
yes I've taken the quarterly £15 credit into account.
The amount of discrepancy is different on all 3 accounts just as it was different on all 3 last month.
For example one account has been under charged by £1.03 while another was undercharged by £7.32. Mine is the stangest of all. I should have been billed for £1.15 but instead I have been credited £6.45 and last month I should have been billed £1.22 and instead I was credited £3.77 ????0 -
I don't know the ins and outs of this but I note that totalling the £1.22 you should have paid and the £3.77 credit comes to £4.99 (£5 by any other name).Canny_mal wrote:yes I've taken the quarterly £15 credit into account.

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
