Was trying to book a Club appartment for 19th Feb for 4 nights.

Anyone else confirm this?

I was after a double room with another room with bunks but could only get a twin room with extra room with bunks - but still not bad...just can't seem to get it for £60!

Honestly don't think so. Those of us who were lucky to get the free breaks earlier this yar were all waiting for the catch too but it never came. As someone who used to work in holiday camps I can tell you they offer these breaks out of season to fill the camp up. The chalets and staff are there and wages have to be paid whether the camp is full or not so they are much better off packing out the place and having us all spend the money we've saved at the bar. And just to warn you their bar prices are not great although you do get some money off vouchers in your welcome pack which are worth using

Don't hope for anything more than 'cheap and cheerful'. Pontins are full on old style holiday camps and quite a few certainly have areas that need updating. But these are holidays where its up to you what you get out of it. We are going with friends and my sisters and all have little ones under 5 who we know will have the time of their lives again playing in the parks and doing party dances.

Hope this helps anyone else wondering too

First problem I can see is that you haven't taken off the insurance. Thats £25 in itself.

The other is that I think everyone is getting better deals on the phone. They have more options.

We have booked a 2 bed ground floor classic July 13th at Camber. It was showing online as £85. On the phone I was told we could get a 2 bed club for £100 or the 2 bed classic for £60. We get let off the £5 for guaranteed ground floor because we have a baby.

Also found it a little odd that you can't get a 2 bed where one bedroom is a double, and the sofa bed is the comfiest thing in the world.But, oh well you can't have everything and at least it means we're by the door in case our little monsters try to escape!
