in Credit cards
Hi all,
I put up a post abt this prob already but can't seem to find it nw, basically I ordered some items from "Pauls Boutique" they ended charging me twice for same order they contacted me to confirm whether i wanted both orders and i stated that i only wanted one. The website kept freezing this is why two orders went through. It was on credit card they looked into it and stated that i have to take the matter up with the supplier, now couple months have passed just last week sent a letter recorded delivery and no response. I have emailed them previously and no response. I am annoyed as they wont sort this matter and i am out of £150. any suggestion ?
Please dont ever order from this site for a well known brand there dont kw the meaning of customer service
thanks

Raise a dispute/chargeback with your credit card company. They always refer you to the supplier in the first instance because you need to dispute the purchase first before the credit card company will go ahead with a chargeback. Clearly you've been in touch and waited for a response that never came. Chargeback time.
Some info on which.co.uk if you do a google search - best to know your rights before your credit card maybe tries to fob you off!0 -

Thanks for that Fruit and nut case.
CIFASking : I wrote to the supplier first they did not reply so raised it as a dispute with credit company and they stated to dispute it with the supplier. The credit card company would not do anything about it as they stated that i authorised both transaction on the website meaning when you are putting the payment through sometimes they ask you to put the password you have set up with the bank for online purchases so on that basis they wont do anything further..after this happened i now wrote to them again giving them 14 days to reply. hope that makes sense0
