Problems receiving aol e-mails on mobile

I would appreciate any help
Until recently I have been able to receive my aol imap mail on my mobile and then last week it stopped working. It will download all my other accounts just not the main one. I use the T-mobile web and walk connection so I tried it on orange just in case and I get the same error. It connects, reports that its receiving headers but nothing appears.
I've tried Aol - Almost an hour on live help just to be told to ring tech support and then tech support saying its my mobile providers problem when obviously it isn't. I was even told I couldn't receive e-mail remotely if I was logging in under my screen name - These people know nothing :mad:.
