travelling south africa & safari

hi everyone,

I am thinking about going travelling for about 3 weeks sometime this year, with a friend or possibly alone.

I have family in south africa so would like to combine visiting them with some travelling around & going on safari

Can anyone recomend any tour companies?
Would it be ok going on a tour on my own?

Surely your family in SA would be the best place to start with these questions? They will have local knowledge andvwill likely be able to get a much better price on a safari than we could get from here.

I went last year, and don't think I'd want to go alone. There are some pretty long roads you wouldn't want to break down on.

Sort out your car hire before you go as it's more expensive when you get there.
