I need to find out if someone owns a property on the IOM and how much they paid but had a look on one website and they want to charge £60, i know you can do a search in the UK for £4, any other way you know of?

Don't get ripped off by poeple who charge a lot of money to duplicate what an offical body already does - the main site is http://www.gov.im/registries/general/landreg.xml
I don't know anything about Manx Law but suggest you start there and use their contacts page - also it seems that if the land has not yet been registered you have to search in the deeds registry: http://www.gov.im/registries/general/deedsandpro.xmlRICHARD WEBSTER
