Yikes, Cleo, how are you being hit so hard?

Im on a bit late today as I had a Dr appointment in the morning. I have a bit of a long day today so here we go:

    • Ate lunch from home
    • Getting the last of my shots for Uganda after work
    • Walking from that dr to a meeting for volluntary work
    • Walking from meeting to a friends house for dinner, eating there
    • Book eye test that work will pay for as Ive been gettting headaches and I think it may be my eyesight
    • crochet in evening
    • take out pizza dough to thaw for tomorrow
Its soooo beautiful outside here, quite annoyed to be stuck in the office!!!

    • read up on tesco price checker thing and enter receipt details (doesnt work on express stores :( )
    • hunt for clubcard - dont know where the heck I put it and missing out on loads of points!

  • Hi everyone,

What busy and varied lives we all lead on our quest for a debt free life!

    - worked this am , rather draining but got through it
    - planted loads of peas and seedlings in the garden and watered like mad as its quite hot here
    - volunteered to do extra overtime at the weekend although net gain is only 35.00 - but every little counts
    - wrote to south west rail for refund of ticket for local train that never turned up

Unfortunately not an LSD/NSD today as had to go and buy some food (sorry, I weakened).

Hope everyone else having a good DFW day!!

    Hi everyone,
I`ve had a really crap day today, should have been my one day off this week but got told I HAD to attend two exams (which I am already qualified at a higher level for anyway!) or I would fail my college course and loose my job. What made it worse was the 80mile round trip and then found out there was a 5 hour gap between the exams so had to hang around the college canteen!
That was my NSD out of the window as had to buy lunch and a couple of coffees.

Anway, with what is left of today I will:
Washing done and out on line.
    Walk pooches.
    Tea from stores.
Try and do something crafty (might make some cards so I feel like I have done something constructive).
Rubbish and recycling out for the morning.
Early night as up for work in the morning as usual.

    • charged my phone at my desk

Yeurgh, off sick today as I was up all night with a horrible cough and breathing probs left over from the fluey bug that everyone seems to be getting. I was propelled to Drs by NHS Direct nurse who insisted I must see a Dr TODAY not 2 weeks next Thursday as usual (it is a nightmare trying to get a GP appointment round here ). I am now on steroids  as my ailment is not a chest infection as I thought, but a bad asthma flare up. Will see about work tomorrow - they usually work pretty quick (had them before).

Apart from that - sorry to hear about your tax credits Cleosmum. What a nightmare

Rockcakes, sorry to hear about the uni place. When you are where you want to be, consider looking at the OU as you can study while you are working and take courses as and when. They are fab!

For me today - not much!

Got notification from NPower that my gas and elec combined payments are going up to £87 per month  Hardly surprising though given how cold it has been, and how the prices have gone up

Washing dried on line as it has been such a lovely day :D

    Heating off :D :T

Contacted estate agent to ask him to release tenant's deposit early. She needs the money for a new rental, and sometimes you just have to go with it and trust people. As you can see, I am not cut out for landlording (?) but she has rented our house for 3 years with minimal problems, so fingers crossed all is ok. Doesn't matter much as we will be doing the place up anyway. Probably not MS though :o. Never mind, soon we are moving into our own house at last and giving up OHs tied accommodation. V. excited!

    HM meals (OH cooked supper)

    YouGov survey (boring)

Will pay cc bills online in a minute if I cba. If not, must do tomorrow.
