Car insurance - pass plus question

I've been driving for 3 yrs however, im 21 & my insurance premiums are extortionate even with 1 yrs no claims... when I passed my test I thought of doing 'pass plus' but as I was bobbing around driving etc forgot to book it!!!
Im wondering can I take a 'pass plus' test now even though ive been passed 3 yrs? and if so will this reduce my car insurance premium?
Thanks in advance

might be wrong but i nagged our 19 year old son when he first passed his test to do the pass plus ... he didn't and when renewal came up i quried pass plus and they said it was only of use in the first year as they viewed it as equiv to a years experience and no claims.
if it helps .. daughter is 21 with 3 years experience .. drives a 3 year old yaris near london ... we're paying £450 comprehensive with zurich via endsleigh., who have always been cheapest.0 -
