Had a phone call from very nice young lady today who informed me that she had noticed we had been getting lots of marketing calls just recently - which is very true. She had my name, address and post code - said she worked for No more marketing.co.uk and for £3 she could put an end to all this? She asked for my credit card number - which I refused to give her - she then said if I was interested in stopping marketing calls take a look at their website - which I must admit I have not done yet - jus wondered if any of you guys out there have had a similar call or experience of these people???:smileyhea

........Have already done that a couple of years ago + still get these calls so tried to register again but it said I couldnt as I am already registered :rotfl::rotfl:

If they are genuinely unsolicited calls, report them to the TPS

Thanks will make a note of when we get these calls - was just concerned about this no more marketing call - just wondered if they are getting lots of people who are willing to give them their credit card number over the phone

£3 and there's no guarantee they'll stop the calls anyway.

OMG - just looked at their website - they stop junk mail, txt + email - all for £3 A MONTH - I just hope that people out there do not give out their credit card details :eek:

The question you should have asked is how does she know that you have been getting marketing calls.

If your registered for TPS complain about nomoremarketing.co.uk calling you. They do follow up complaints.
