NOT washing up liquid my mum did this once there was suds everywhere, i'd just turn it on with nothing it gets piping hot in there so everything will be clean/serilised anywayDEC GC £463.67/£450

You can make dishwasher tablets last longer by only using half a tablet if the load is not too filthy! I sometimes do that when we are down to the last 3 or 4 tablets in the box and I'm not planning to go shopping for a few days.One life - your life - live it!0

Tablets??? We use powder.
Like above just run on a hot wash. I do this sometimes with the washing machine too as there is always powder (yes use wash powder too) and fabric cond stuck to the sides of the drawer.0 -

So there are other people who use powder :T:T I thought we were the only ones. I couldn't be bothered faffing around with cutting tablets so it's a much easier solution.Making small changes everyday....0 -

you don't cut them in half you snap them, it only takes a sec i even do this with my value ones if i have a cleanish load, at the mo i'm using the ones with liquid in them so it's not an option (they were on offer)DEC GC £463.67/£450

I have also heard you could try using soda crystals in the dishwasher, with white vinegar as a rinse aid, but haven't got round to trying it out myself.One life - your life - live it!0
