where can i put my tomato plants?

I read on another forum last year that someone cuts their grow bags in half round the middle then stands each up on it's bottom and plants one tomato in each half. This gives them a deeper root run.0

Totally agree Ericsmum, 3 planted into a growbag laid down pillow fashion doesn't allow the roots to do their thing, and are awkward to stake. By cutting a grow bag in half and separating, if one gets a disease you can easily remove it from the others. This is why I prefer pots or buckets.0

Our local Morrisons have green metal staging with square purpose built pots that fit into the staging for their flowers. No black buckets for me then.
