Experian on Commission???

in Loans
I'm in quite a tight spot so I'll start from the beginning.
I recently signed up to experian to check my credit file because I'm getting married in 5 months and would like a £3000 loan to take the pressure off the months before the wedding.
I currently have a loan of £2000 with my bank (yorkshire bank) which I've been paying off for over a year (3 years in total) and primarily I'd like to ask them for an extension rather than get a loan from somewhere else. Before I did this though I wanted to do some checks on my file to make sure everything is as it should be.
I signed upto experian and thankfully everything seemed fine (apart from a late payment to o2 when I cancelled my contract which is now paid and settled). However, I saw an option on their page that matched my rating to certain lenders, and out of curiousity I clicked it and filled out a couple of details.
BIG MISTAKE! Not only did it match me to all high cost credit cards and loans with ridiculous APR (which I know is incorrect as I already have a loan with a very reasonable APR) they have then decided it was okay to give my phone number out to these people. I received a call within a hour or two from a company called aspire asking me about my loan application. I explained I haven't made one, but then I was told by someone with a South African accent that I wish to borrow £3000 and they have found me a possbile lender. So again out of curiousity (and again I know, BIG MISTAKE!) I asked for the details. It was a load of old rubbish really, they matched me to QuickQuid!!!! They said I could have £100 and build my rating doing this and.............. well, it was a complete waste of time. My credit rating isn't even that bad, its above the national average so why they thought I would feel the need to build it up is beyond me.
Anyway, I checked my creditfile last week (I'm now going through checkmyfile) and it's showing up 3 (yes 3!!!) credit searches have taken place on my file. As I'm about to apply for a loan with my bank is this going to have an adverse affect? Is there anything I can do to get these searches removed or help my case with the bank if I do run into problems? Please help!

It is actually "would HAVE". Also, they are "definitely"... And they would have "been" throwing... Also, it is "bung" not "bunce". Finally, it would be "now", and not "know".
Happy to help clear up a completely nonsensical post.0 -

Whilst I appreciate you clearing a "completely nonsensical post" (which I managed to make sense of) a bit of ACTUAL advice to my problem would be much more appreciated than some grammar and spelling corrections.
Thank you0 -
would defiantly being throwing Experian.
I don't know... looks okay to me
There are a few posts from people who have done exactly the same as the OP and been hounded constantly from the bottom feeders.
Here you go, have a read

That's exactly whats been happening to me. Been getting countless calls from private numbers for around 2 weeks. I never answer them because they're private but then they start sending me texts!!!
Any loan companies that go to this much trouble to give people money clearly have their own agenda, which I'm guessing is a ridiculous APR on anything they offer.
Maybe I mis-titled this post. I wanted to have a rant about experian and they're clear lack of morals, but the main purpose was to ask for advice on whether or not I should apply for a loan with my bank considering there is now 3 credit searches taken place in the past month.0 -

.
Most of them will be Brokers, not lenders.
They will promise you the Earth, take about £70 from you and disappear. All they will do is pass your details onto other brokers who fancy some of your easy cash too.
A lot are evolving now though and not charging broker fees (because it can be claimed back when they fail to deliver), instead they are charging membership fees for their pointless and worthless service.
To answer your other question. 3 searches in a short space of time is considered the max limit before your chances diminish. Leaving it 6 months for the searches drop off your file would be a good bet but if you continue now, even if they do accept you, you may not be offered the same rate as you would have, had you not had 3 searches on you already.0 -

I agree with 'Apples2' here but then again it is also down to the personal relationship you have with your bank. If they know you it does no harm to 'pop in' and have a 'chat' and explain what happen and why. You may find they are quite understanding and you may not have to wait all that time.
There is still something like 'personal banking' in particular in smaller branches and staff sometimes have a different view than the computer and can make an offer.
In any case it will not hurt as you hit the 3 searches trigger as it is.Getting there! Thanks to you guys0 -
