Had a look when I was there in August.... Not an awful lot cheaper than buying online.0

They are cheaper out in Sinagpore, as you get a chance to haggle. However as the previous poster has said, if you look properly, you can buy cameras online for about the same price now. Also you have to consider the warranty situation, it is often the case that electrical goods bought in Sinapore, to get the cheapest price, will come with a local warranty only."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

The warranty thing is true, you need to make sure you get an international warranty.
However, if you are in Singapore, go across the border to Johor Bahru in Malaysia - and see what the exchange rate does for you there - it could well work in your favour even more as things do tend to be cheaper in Malaysia than in Singapore.
You can get a bus over for about S$2-3, and takes about 30-40 mins. If you've got a UK passport, you don't need a visa either
If you do decide to stick in Singapore, Orchard Rd is very touristy, so don't necessarily expect a bargain there, nor the Suntec Mall - thier prices seemed to be close to UK prices0 -
Should mention the two places you want to try for cameras are Sim Lin Plaza and Mustafa's (in Little India)."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

IIRC then the airport doesnt have any good deals on this type of thing at all. Much better off buying from the UK online. IMHO.if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.0
