BT £10 Line Rental Question

Hi,
I currently pay the standard £13 a month to BT for line rental and
I'm trying to find a way to pay my line rental yearly in advance (with BT) whilst still keeping my Sky any-time calls package.
I can't find a way to just sign up for a years line rental on BT's website, all options involve taking a call package, am I missing something blindingly obvious here?
If I can't just sign up for the line rental only, is there a charge for changing your call provider (and keeping your line rental with BT)?
Thanks for your help

All BT line rental tariffs include some element of call charges, the basic one being the weekend calls tariff.
There's no charge for changing once you are out of your minimum term contract. No free lunch, and no free laptop

It should be possible to have BT line rental (which comes with - at least - their Unlimited Weekend calls plan as standard) and a CPS calls provider (the free Sky Talk Freetime or the £5/month Sky Talk Unlimited are two CPS plans) but BT's Line Rental Saver appears to require deletion of any CPS package on the line.
Whether it is possible to overcome that, I don't know. I wonder whether BT company representative can answer?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
