installed windows XP on D:drive (HELP)

if i put the boot disk in and delete the
partition
will it have any effect on my comp,,,,

if you delete the d: partition it will be gone, if you format it, it will still be there, but the data will be gone. However you can just recreate it either at installation time (using create), or later on after you installed windows.

still no luck here,when i switch my commy on it gives still gives me the option of 2 windows XP to load upMY NEW COMPUTER IS TOP CLASS:0

could you post your c:\boot.ini
if you right click on the d: drive in explorer and format , does it let you do it?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
