JUST HAD DEALINGS WITH Amazon superb sevice and no i dont work for them!
I bought a satnav from them last year used it on our hols and werent impressed with it at all, tried it again this year and it seemed worse.
Wrote to Garmin with the problems, have had no reply from them, so got onto Amazon and asked for a refund, they sent me a returns label, so i sent the satnav back, they recieved it next day and i got a refund the following day.
Very slick service.

I totally agree, Amazon give outstanding customer service.
I bought a Western Digital Media Player from them that didn't work properly. I had resigned myself to a protracted battle to try and get a replacement or a refund (I hadn't had any problems with Amazon purchases previously).
I went on to their website and typed in my phone number, and THEY called me within a minute. Very helpful woman listened to my woes and actually dispatched a replacement to me while I was still on the phone! All I had to do was print off a return address form, attach it to my broken media player and then pass it to the DHL courier THEY sent to my workplace.
I had received my replacement media player (which worked fine) before I had sent back the broken media player! :j
Amazon is now the first place I look when I want to buy something, big or small.
BTW, I do not work for them! But I was so unaccustomed to such outstanding service I do not mind spending a few minutes to sing their praises. :TDon't relax! It's only your tension that's holding you together.0 -
In Garmin's defence, I've had nothing but brilliant service from them. They replaced my sat nav with a more up to date model when my old one went to map heaven.
