Laptop DVd multiregional For Dell XPS M1710

I guess this DVD will be good for the usual 3 or 5 region code changes then will freeze.

Does anyone know of a work-around to make it multiregional?

the normal way is to change the firmware on the drive but I have found laptop firmwares dificult to find especially for newer laptops.

I have had some sucess with DVD region killer, their website seems to be pushing somthing else no but google DVD Region Killer and Im sure you will find it.

I use AnyDVD but it's pricey. It does work very well though.

get a copy of discinfo which will show you what drive you have and then search for the firmware update.

this site has lots of links.

I updated my firmware and use DVD Region Killer 2.7
