Redundancy Advice

Hi Folks,
I am currently awaiting to see if I am about to be made redundant. The company finished the group consultation yesterday which has lasted 30 days and will now move into individual consultation this week.
They will be contacting me to see if I want to apply for the roles that are available in the company.
I am currently on a 3 months notice period, so if I am made redundant they have got to pay me three months PILON. If I apply for one of the jobs and get it and then change my mind, I take it I will lose my 3 months notice period which I dont want to do.
At this stage I don't know what roles are available and what the salaries are going to be.
If I take one of the new roles after being interviewed, can I then change my mind within 4 weeks and say make me redundant instead and they have to pay me my 3 months notice period or not?
I would be grateful if anyone can advise.
Many thanks
Paul

Okay if you take one of the other jobs and it is significantly different to the one you currently hold, I would ask that you be able to trial the role for a period of 4 weeks and that if either the Company or you decide that the job is not for you, then your redundancy would not be affected. It is important to get this agreed up front so that there is no misunderstanding later which could lead to a lengthy ET situation.0
