                                  in Credit cards

I didn't know where to post this but I'm sure here won't do any harm.
I had an email from O2 re my contract phone last Thursday saying that my phone bill was in arrears. The DD to pay it was refused by my bank on Monday 28 March - (an oversight on my part). As soon as I received the email on Thursday 31 March, I paid it online by debit card. My next bill will be 13 April payable on 28 April.
Will this be reported to the credit agencies?

It may or may not be is the answer...
It all depends on when they report the account status to the CRA's (credit reference agencies). If, say for example, they report on the 15th of the month, then your credit report won't be affected as they would have already reported it for March and the account is up to date by the time the 15th April comes around.
However, if they report to them on the 30th then your account will be showing as in arrears - then you'll get a '1' on your report for a late payment, even though it is now up to date.
Either call them to find out when the report to the CRA's or wait and check your reports in a months time.
Hope that helps!PMA - Positive Mental Attitude

That's nice and clear thankyou. So it would appear that in all probability i should be OK, given that they would have to report to the CRA's on the 29th or 30th of the month for my account to be shown in arrears.0

That's correct! So hopefully, the odds will be in your favour of getting away with it!
Good luck...PMA - Positive Mental Attitude
