Cheaper Legoland Annual Passes (via Tesco)

Legoland is due to open in less than 3 weeks (12/3), so thought it was pertinent to post this information now.

Currently you can get vouchers (to exchange for tickets) from Tesco using clubcard points such that an adult ticket costs £6 and a childs ticket £5.50.

Tesco Clubcard Deal

However if you buy an annual pass on the day of your visit, you can offset the FULL cost of the ticket against the pass (according to the reply I got from Legoland CS). For example.

Child [restricted] Annual pass = £39 - £22 + [£5.50 clubcard] = £22.50
Adult = £47 - £24 + [£6.00 clubcard] = £29

Legoland ticket prices

At these prices, if you are going to be visiting more than once, it's worth doing. Also with an Annual pass you get to go to special events (i.e. Blues concert, fireworks etc.) for free.

Personally a restricted pass is recommended as the only restriction is you aren't allowed in the park in August before 4PM. August in Legoland during peak time is hell anyway with massive queues it is IMHO best avoided.

However you need to act quickly if you want to visit on opening day, as it takes 10 days to exchange the clubcard vouchers.

    Hello,

    Does your reply from Legoland cs say that you can purchase your day ticket with Clubcard tokens and then pay the extra cash to upgrade?

    I always thought that you couldnt use Tesco Clubcard points for Annual Passes (apart from Tussauds, which finishes in May), but it doesnt say so on the t + c's, only on the Days Out page (Drayton Manor etc)

    If so, that is great !!!!

    i dont think you buy the annual pass with vouchers - you use your vouchers to buy a day pass, and then you buy an annual pass on the day of your visit, but they discount the normal full price (not your clubcard costs) off the annual pass

    so you pay £5.50 in clubcard vouchers for day entry - but they discount the full entry price (£22) off the annual pass fee of £39, so you end up paying £22.50 in cash - well thats how i read it
