Family Day Out Close To M1 And Between London & Nottingham?

I personally wouldn't bother with the Space centre, i visited a couple of months ago and was really disapointed, thank god we were sbsidised and it only cost £6.50 for an adult and child. If id paid full price i would not have been happy, I'd only reccomend if your kids really into 'Space' otherwise id give it a miss.

What about Bradgate park, off 21A, Leicester. Lovely deer park, only pay for parking.

Thanks for all the suggestions, there looks some very nice attractions but I'm still unsure, I Think I’ll leave the space centre and maybe go if the subject arises in my daughters science class.

Bradgate Park looks lovely but like Bletchley, It would be something for me to enjoy on my own. With Gulliver’s and Snibston Discovery, They look great but I'd only get my daughtrer to go there with her cousins (7 & 4).

As for Warwick castle it's a great suggestion and I would recommend it as a great detour for anyone (especialy with Merlin Passes) travelling north from London. However great minds think alike and we went there last year on the way home from London (and later that day went to the Birmingham Sealife).

I conclusion If I can get my daughter to vsit another Zoo, at the moment Paradise Wildlife Park looks like the most likely option but hopefully all the other great suggestions will be useful to other people (with less fussy kids).
