But it does annoy me when they make up their own policies because they can't be arsed reading the briefs from head office, or aren't trained correctly. That is their problem - not mine!!

I was breathing fire yesterday and the flames had only subsided a bit today when I got on the phone to Head Office. However as has been said on here a few times, they were nice as pie, and I'm sure my gift voucher will be put to good use.

Well, that's very strange then! If I feel up to it I will try another one tomorrow and see what happens - it was a genuine voucher, with the genuine receipt (as are all my vouchers). Poor lad - he was only doing me a favour as well, as i have been ill for a few days and not able to get out.Perhaps they are discriminating by age/appearance? Or perhaps they simply haven't got a clue!I will print out the T&Cs and make a note of the HO tel. number as well.

What is the barcode on your beef?

Some people are saying the Silverside they got has the same barcode.

I definitely bought silverside but it was the wrong barcode, so it must be a weight thing along with the silverside and the top rump.

Looks like the silverside will work dependent on weight.

If it startes with 023658 then you will be fine.

Isn't it strange how customer services on the phone are lovely while people are having such horrible experiences with some SAs. You would think that head office would be the ones who would have the hump because they can see exactly how it DTD is affecting profit margins while SAs have no idea. To me it just seems like middle management with an inflated sense of their own importance.
