    It is a fraud squad alerter. If you go through with a DTD voucher that you have:
    used a clubcard with
    used a credit/debit card with
    already gained DTD on
    obtained in a Tesco's

    they press the button, the barriers come down and several tesco managers army-roll out of the back room, holding rather large lighters. They then pin you to the floor while they burn your receipts and take away your betty crockers.

    ...or so i've heard.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    In my case I used a clubcard - (only claimed £30 DTD this month) -

    and the button was hit at the start of the transaction before a voucher was even thought off so it is not that. I was genuinely curious as the what they alerted if anything ?

    I assumed it was hit when an operator changes over - any till operatives from Sainsbury - Asda - or Tesco :D care to enlighten it's primary purpose otherwise I'll have to email CS :o

    Hiya Everyone

    When I left for work this morning, I was up to date on page 418….you’ve talked your way to page 464, fair play!

    I’ll try and catch up, but with all the shopping lists, price comparisons, calculations, trips to Tesco etc, this is turning into another full-time job!

    Thanks to anyone who’s been updating today. I'm still yearning for lamb, so if anyone has news on Welsh lamb in Wales, please let me know.

    I’ve had my first two attempts confirmed, hope it helps someone. Asda price below the Tesco price. Any tips on getting it lined up tidy?

    hi there.
    i was brave enough to do my firsdt dtd strategic shop on thursday. i filled up the freezer with magnums and cornettos and today i bought my bits with my voucher. whilst i was there i also bought as a seperate transaction: more magnums, the toilet duck fresh discs that i have seen mentions and the dettol hand wash. hadn't seen anyone mention the twinings teabags. 2 boxes of 80. T=4.80 A £3. dtd=£3.60.
    the price checker wouldn't let me submit my two reciepts though as it wanted a date in the past. thought that was strange as it took them on the day last week. anyone else having problems?
