Am I alone in deciding to leave the meat stuff well alone?

Just reading these posts make my head boggle, so having all the stress on a shopping trip too, would ensure I got it all wrong. If it was clear cut like the lamb racks it would be quite simple. I am sticking to products I know.

It's worth trying though, particularly if you're paying with a voucher, recycled of course. After all, it's not as if you're paying cash, so you won't lose, even if it comes back N/A you've got a nice piece of meat for next to nothing.

Has anyone had new receipt written on by CS and still managed to use it ok? This has happened to my friend, the CS person wrote Price Check voucher used on her new receipt, so she is worried about using a voucher again...having to show receipt with this wriiten on. I feel awful as I showed her how to DTD and this is only her second one.

This happened to us in the Irvine store (Scotland) yesterday.

Thanks for entering your receipt details.
This receipt is already being processed, and you should receive your email soon so that you can view your results and see your shop compared to ASDA.
Please make sure that you keep your original receipt, as you may need it later on.

At my store (worcester) their new policy apparently is to march you off to CS whenever they get a DTD voucher (this has just come into place today)... however, I did 2 shops and was only marched to CS's once. It seems like some of the SAs do not know about this so called new rule for my tesco. Does anyone know why they are doing this? Will the receipts still be accepted??!

    Tesco'ism alert

They are called Tesco'isms = Appearing soon in a Collins dictionary near you.

Tesco'ism = To make something up to irritate a customer or to entertain oneself during a working day at Tesco.

In answer to your question about the CS desk. Yes it still will work. Mine have on a few occasions.

Just had a funny moment... talking to my daughter (3yrs) as we were at the till paying for a DTD shop, as the SA commented on the vouchers being 1 per day she announced to the SA "Mummy said we got to go round again we need lamb and 'tatoes with more paper money''...:embarasse Lesson learned... leave kids at home:o

I wish we could have a LOL button at a post like this instead of Thanks :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
