ooo u ever had any problems? as i havnt, SA quizzed me a little today, just played dumb lol:rotfl:

no probs as yet - only that some SA's unsure what to do but everyone has been friendly - unlike some of the stories on here.

I do think being polite and playing a bit dumb goes a long way. It's what I have to do with my luncheon vouchers as well because if I explain what they are thye usually decide I can only use them in the restaurant:cool:

did they sign the original receipt as well?

Maybe your friend try one and if not go to customer services and politely explain how the staff seem to have got the wrong end of the stick and are signing the wrong receipt.

Yes they signed the other receipt.
They wrote next to the part where it says coupon. Price Check Voucher Used and the date I think. Bizarre

I was in the same shop at the same time, went through a lovely SA that scanned and put through fine. Although to be fair I was using last voucher for £100 limit, but she didn't know that.

Am I alone in deciding to leave the meat stuff well alone?

Just reading these posts make my head boggle, so having all the stress on a shopping trip too, would ensure I got it all wrong. If it was clear cut like the lamb racks it would be quite simple. I am sticking to products I know.

What a difference a day makes. After all that grief yesterday and being sent a £10 gift voucher today, off I went to Tesco. Firstly the one furthest away on a DTD shop. Spent 50p on £20.50 shop.

This afternoon went to another. This time I thought I'd use a voucher on a normal shop. Lovely joint of Gammon (not DTD) in the oven now. :D
