Catching up so may already have been covered but...seriously lets not go there again!
I laughed & saw the remark as light spirited. Please you have been helpful & polite so don't do a u turn. We're all here to save money. If we make friends along the way all's good. If not then onto the next glitch but remember it's all about the money money money!

Is it possible to:
a) cut in half (Not sure how I would cut the bone?) and freeze
b) de-bone the joint, add stuffing in its place and then string and cut into smaller joints?
Thanks
You could de-bone it - then cut into two pieces and freeze like that. You could then defrost it, stuff it and roll it OR just marinade the defrsted de-boned meat before cooking on the Bar b Q.
anyway, we are only two - and a leg of lamb is fine. Serve freshly cooked day 1, thoroughly reheated in a decent gravy day 2, serve cold with jacket potato and home made chutney day 3. Not a health risk if cooled quickly and throughly re-heated day 2. Alternatively, just slice the meat and freeze in gravy on day 1.ELITE 5:2

just to let you know I went over the £100 limit and I got caught!
Tesco customer services emailed me and said that I would not get my vouchers as my household had already received £100 in vouchers. I used my clubcard each time and the same email so it was my own fault. I phoned cs and was told that if I resubmit the receipt details in May I will get the vouchers then.
I have now entered another receipt which has a different clubcard number registered at a different address and used a different email address so I'll let you know if I receive a voucher for that transaction.0 -
Quick question - just found a couple of receipts from end of march/beginning of april for £60 odd each, which was before i knew anything about this DTD thing. If I put those receipts through now, would they still be able to price check, or not? Also, I did use my clubcard to add points from these, so would it be advisable to do it anyway?
Any help greatly appreciated.0 -
Ok whos been DTDing in Colney Hatch?
Just been in with my list and there were no Betty Crocker, no white magnums and no kids toothbrushes!!
Glad I had a list of replacement items just in case but then got all the way to the till and realised I left my voucher at home:eek:, oh well paid cash and thought Id just have another voucher.
Something else I noticed, all the tills had a sign on them saying:
"Do you have a clubcard? If you get a tempory one and start using straight away."
Whats the betting this is one of their ways to try and keep tabs on people lol0 -
