hi, does it say top side top rump silver side on the packet? Top side top rump and silver side are from two different parts of the animal. Silver side is never worth buying as its filled with vains. Are tescos combining both in one pack? Am very confused. Or is the deal for either t/side T/rump or silverside? thanks,:)

Ahh this is is where it may get even more confusing for some people

I think, but I could be wrong that it says Top Rump on it. I could be wrong though.

This is the biggest load of !!!!!! ever. Me and my mum input our receipts from a shop on saturday, on saturday straight after. We are both still waiting for 2x receipts EACH!!

absolutely ridiculous that other people are getting their vouchers back from sunday shops today?! Obviously the system doesn't work, how "processing" can go array is beyond me, it's a computer system not a conveyor belt in china. Won't be wasting my time doing this again GRRRRRR

Apparently the stores have to manually process any vouchers and in my experience I have one particular store that always takes 3 days for me to get the vouchers. For all the other stores I have used I have had the vouchers back the next day. Did you both shop in the same store because it might well be the store at fault. If so when they come through if you have another T's near try that one instead.
    HTH:)

It will have the first few digits the same I would imagine. The beef I had, started with completely different numbers to the couple that have been posted. Definitely the wrong one for me on Saturday.

    I could be wrong though.
Sorry i missed this post :o do you know what the ones that worked started with? i haven't been on here for a couple of days & there's too much to catch up on :rotfl:

It may be helpful to know what your beef says on the label, word for word.

If you don't mind going to the trouble.

Since you asked so nicely :)

My label reads the same as the photo on the spreadsheet, but I will check the weights and barcodes when I get home in case that is the difference. On the receipt it comes up as:

    3 x TESCO FRESH BEEFT/S T/R S/S JNTSSML STORES (2.528 kg) £ 21.44
Still nice beef and I'm not going to complain, it just seems odd that visually it's identical to the one that works.
    Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81
    Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off

    Hi
Have been checking both websites and noticed that 'Evergreen Multipurpose Grass seed with Ryegrass (420g box) is £5 at Mr T's and 3 for £10 at Asda.
Just wondering if gardening stuff works as it would be worth a try if you can get 3 boxes for £5!
    Thanks
    ;);)

Do we need to add to the spreadsheet that the beef must be greater than 1.1 kg, but still in the "medium" section (which in practice is probably quite a small range!)

Oh for crying out loud, chill out and relax a bit!!

This is not a load of !!!!!!, its ana amazing deal thats filled the cupboards of many of us here.

Now then, have you been to the price checker website and re-input your receipt details again, ie exactly as you did the first time?

    And there you have it.

You definitely bought the wrong beef

The beef that works is coming up as
T.BEEF TOP SIDE TOP RUMP SILVER SIDE JOINT MED

I dont think it comes up as that on the till receipt though, does it??

From what I've seen the size that people seem to be getting money back on is 1.1 -1.3 kilo

I can confirm that ive just received my dtd for the following beef joint:

    Tesco
    British beef
    Topside/Toprump joint
    with added basting fat

    price per kilo £8.48
    price per lb £3.85
    weight 1.122(kg)
    Price per pack £9.51

    Barcode on mine was 0 236580 009519

    In clear hard plastic packaging.
Ill try and add a photo!

    HTH

Just as I thought, the first few digits ARE THE SAME!
0 2365 86009659 is from another confirmed joint!

So that's it I think. As long as it says Top Rump and it's barcode starts with 0 2365 it should be a good DTD
